Still All Good Downunder

We have all pretty much settled in and are now on the way into summer, and really looking forward to some days on the beach and in our pool. Our Wend has a great relationship going with her NBF, Aisling (pronounced Ashling, what is it with bloody Irish names eh? They call Niamh Nee a ma.)
They head off to the gym every day, to rid themselves of at least two bottles of SSB (Semi Sauvignon Blanc) they drink every night, and also look at some guy's peachy arse that they won't stop talking about!! Women eh?
The kids are all fine, although there doesn't seem to be a weekend that goes by that they don't have mates sleeping over here or there sleeping over someplace else. That's the beauty of all their pals being in the neighbourhood, and the fact that they can set off on their own, pretty safely. At least we are not the proverbial taxi drivers we would be if we were living in Hints.
Peter & Niamh now do drama on Mondays, they have both landed the leading parts in their respective productions, and Niamh does tennis Saturday mornings, although this week she is there everyday as they are on half term.
Peter is still fencing on Saturdays and either glued to his MAC book or having Nerf wars with his pals most of the other times!!
We have been trying to buy a wood fired pizza shop since July, even been there training all last week and this. Thinking of calling it Peter by Goli, or Peter Express!!! (you can thank Steve Hall for those). The managing agents, Savills, are the biggest bunch of tits I have ever met in my life. We were due to take over last Friday, but they still haven't sorted the lease out. Its so frustrating, I could kill them. When I told the sellers there is no way the change over can take place, she started crying.
Now finishing off this post, I can tell you, its once again now all gone away altogether, I'm gutted.
So we start looking again. Savills caused the chip shop deal to fall over, but I thought I had covered all the bases this time, hey ho. You can't legislate for dealing with a bunch of complete amateurs I guess.
But I have another venture in mind (after the debacle of the chippy, thought I best think of something where I have a bit more control), I am thinking of importing some innovative lights from China.
Plans are a foot, got some storage space lined up above a coffee shop in The Swan Valley, just down the road from the house even got a website under construction.
This is a photie we have had done
They are rechargeable, (6 hours to charge, 12 to discharge) and totally waterproof you can even chuck 'em into your swimming pool, and you can sit on the cubes. They are really cool and there is nowt like it in the whole of Oz. They got a couple of design issues, which I am not happy about, but really hoping they can get them sorted.
I'm going over to Hong Kong at the end of October to see the manufacturer and attend a lighting exhibition to look at some more products to add to the portfolio.Quite spooky really as the day I land in HK will be exactly twelve months to the day that we arrived there last year.
Paul (Our Kid) and Steve Grice (not sure if you know him, he is Paul's former business partner) they are going to the Canton Fair and we are meeting up in HK for a couple of days, can't wait. How very cosmopolitan eh?
I got some samples of the lights, and everyone I have shown them to are chomping at the bit to buy them. I've already sold about 20, only another 1,380 to go!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Not doing much golf, still putting like a tit, but long game is good.
Don't know where the days get to, only managing a couple of games a week, even though I'm not working, very strange.
I'm following the Villa, the attendances are dire, McLeish? Seem to be doing ok, but really not played anyone any good yet I guess, I think Man City are up next (we lost 4-1), I'm dreading it, they could stick a right few past us, (and they did).
We went to Hilary's Boat Harbour last week and had a very nice lunch, courtesy of Colin, Sarah, Sue, John, Franksie and Drew. They bought us a voucher for our Birthdays (back in March) to use at The Breakwater. This is a very swanky eatery in the marina, bloody fantastic, thanks guys, we done it to death. Should bring back some memory's to Clive and Jo, particularly the cost!!!!
What shall I have?
Not a bad view whilst eating ya tucker eh?

Where is me Barrimundi?
Our Wend and Aisling have been taking the kids, Peter, Niamh, Sean (Niamhy's boyfriend) and Jodie to The Vines Resort pretty much everyday the last two weeks, (they have two pools there and they can run riot)  from about 11am until 5ish. They take a picnic and a dozen bottles of wine, they have a ball.
"Can you pass me glass of wine please, I may be here for a while!!"

'The Lunatics'
"Honest, its peachy, come along tamarra and che' kit out urself it ya don't believe me"

The group has been getting larger they are now joined by Libby and her kids, and sometimes Elvira. A right Desperate Housewives scenario.

They went off enmasse up into the hills to a place called Bells Rapids for one day, picnicked did all the usual stuff.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

We went to the beach on Sunday, very very windy. PJ braved it and went body boarding for a couple of hours. It was ended prematurely when there was a shark alert. Nobody was hanging about this time, as only a week earlier a 60 year old guy who was out swimming at 6am at Cottesloe Beach (about a mile down the coast) was taken by a 6 metre Great White. All they found were his Speedo's (the 60m year old not the bloody shark), and that's a fact.
What a Babe eh? She's got her new bikini on under there you know!!

Yep thats me.

Just made it

Surfer Dude
